What Your Profession Brings to the Team:
Genetic counselors help patients understand their genetic conditions and provide the support needed for informed decision-making. We combine scientific knowledge with counseling skills to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.

Why You Joined HPSLC:
I joined HPSLC to be able to meet people that are part of different roles within healthcare and learn about their backgrounds. Being able to meet these people in a more informal setting will hopefully make everybody more comfortable in an interprofessional team and facilitate discussions that aid in collaboration and teamwork skills.
