On May 14th, the Center for Interprofessional Practice & Education welcomed Master Interprofessional Educators, student leaders, and the Center’s interns to celebrate with each other. The Center has used the end of the academic year as an opportunity to showcase interprofessional work being done within the Wash U sphere as well as induct is incoming Master Interprofessional Educators (MIEs) to its community.

The Center also welcomed six new Master Interprofessional Educators to our MIE community. The MIE Community is now 85 strong across fourteen healthcare professions. Kaytlin Reed-Rogier, MSW is pictured below receiving her certificate from Dr. Colleen Wallace.

The CIPE’s theme for this year-end party was, “Lifting Each Other Up – Supporting Your Team Members”. The Center welcomed well-being activity leaders within the WashU and greater St. Louis communities to showcase their well-being work. Panelists shared resources for clinicians such as peer mentorship, support team opportunities, coaching, and the Wash U Mindfulness Cluster. For all, panelists shared their knowledge of best practices for holistic care and stress reduction such as meditation, drumming and somatic yoga, and opportunities for community engagement.
