Explore the St. Louis Art Museum to find expressions of resilience in art (representing components of Purpose, Perseverance, Self-reliance, Equanimity, and Authenticity). Participants will use Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) and consider reflective questions to foster resilience. For instance, we begin with a literal illustration of authentic acceptance with Kintsugi, broken Japanese pottery that is repaired with gold lacquer. This piece demonstrates embracing imperfections in a way that is more valuable and beautiful than before.
This workshop will take place at the St. Louis Art Museum
